The Dion Foundation is thrilled to launch their first charity 5K in Waltham, MA. The route is a loop comprised of streets and dirt paths around the prestigious business school, Bentley University and through the woodland areas of the 100 year old Cedar Hill Campus of the Girls Scouts Eastern Massachusetts headquarters. This centrally located area is a perfect spot for a place to come together to support our mission - to build awareness for Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and raise funds to accelerate treatments for children who suffer from this life threatening disease. After the race, we will congregate at the Mighty Squirrel Brewery located near the finish line for an awards ceremony, raffle and of course some fantastic beer!
